Inside the cathedral the bas-reliefs by Benedetto Antelami and the fresco on the dome over the major altar depicting the Assumption of the Virgin by Antonio Allegri, known as Correggio, are to be admired.<\/p>\n<p>BATTISTERO. An octagonal pink marble building intended for the baptism, greatest artwork of Benedetto Antelami and masterpiece of the Gothic Art.<\/p>\n<p>PALAZZO VESCOVILE.
